Written from a Christian and personal perspective, this article takes issue with the much quoted comment ‘We don’t do God’ in the context of British politics. The author reflects on some of her experiences as a Chaplain in the House of Commons and suggests that guidance in the political arena, particularly in relation to social justice, can usefully be found in the scriptures and through prayer.
